Accessibility

Beyond Limits Assistance is committed to making our website as accessible and usable as possible for all people, including people with disability, their families, carers, support coordinators, and referrers.

We support NDIS participants and families across Perth and surrounding areas, and we aim to provide digital access that is respectful, practical, and easy to use. We also provide support in English and Arabic to help improve communication for participants and families.

Our commitment

We are committed to improving access to the information and services available on this website.

Our goal is to make it easier for people to:

  • understand our services
  • browse pages clearly
  • contact us in the way that works best for them
  • submit enquiries or referrals with confidence
  • access support without unnecessary barriers

We understand that accessibility is an ongoing process, not a one-time task. We continue to review and improve our website over time in line with recognised accessibility standards and good practice. The W3C’s WCAG 2.2 sets out recommendations for making web content more accessible to a wider range of people with disability, and the Australian Human Rights Commission says the relevant standards are the minimum organisations should aim for.

Accessibility approach

We aim to design and maintain our website in a way that supports accessibility, including:

  • clear page structure and headings
  • readable content and plain language where possible
  • keyboard-friendly navigation where practical
  • meaningful links and buttons
  • accessible contact pathways
  • ongoing review of usability across devices and screen sizes

We aim to work toward alignment with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA where reasonable and practical for our website. WCAG 2.2 is the current W3C recommendation and is designed to improve access across visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disability needs.

Accessibility tools and adjustments

Our website currently includes an Accessibility Adjustments toolbar powered by OneTap, with options such as visual and focus-based profiles. These tools may help some users customise the browsing experience to better suit their needs.

While these adjustments may be helpful, we understand that toolbars do not replace accessible design and content. We are committed to improving the website itself over time so that access does not depend on one feature alone.

Ongoing improvement

We are continuing to review the accessibility of this website and identify opportunities to improve:

  • readability and content clarity
  • navigation and page structure
  • form usability
  • compatibility with assistive technologies
  • accessibility of new content before and after publication

Despite our efforts, some parts of the website may not yet be fully accessible. We welcome feedback so we can continue improving.

Third-party content

Some parts of the website may include third-party tools, links, plugins, or external websites. While we try to choose services carefully, we may not have full control over the accessibility of third-party content.

If you experience difficulty with any third-party feature linked from our website, please let us know and we will do our best to provide an alternative way to access the information or support you need.

Need information in another format?

If you have difficulty using this website or accessing any information on it, please contact us.

We will do our best to assist you by:

  • guiding you to the right person or next step

Our website already provides direct phone and email contact options, and the contact page states that details submitted through the form are used to respond to your message.
